I always advise people to take out a fixed rate when refinancing but I was always upset when I used to work at American Home Mortgage and people would insist on crazy 3/1 interest only ARM products. Never risk it and always go for a fixed rate!

Also make sure you get at least 3 or 4 rate quotes along with a real GFE

The better your credit the better the rate you should be getting. Fight for that good rate!
